Underbelly - the TV series, I know there are parts that are fiction , but why did Mark Moran kill Mdladich - ?
And what's with the gratutious scene with the cop in the shower with his girlfriend? Is that some kind of device to say Melbourne is alot sexy than it is or that the cops get it just as much as the crooks or what? I know its to set up the "time wasting in the interrogation room" scene, but really the shower scene was something out of a 80's teen flick.
Mark moran didnt kill mdladich - either dino or jason did.
The rest of what your saying - i think its just to boost ratings - but really it wasnt necessary was it
Would you think that Taylor Swift ACTUALLY likes miley cyrus?
Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus couldn’t look anymore happier nor anymore faker. Like who really believes these two complete opposites are friends with one another. In fact, each of them are in competition to see whose next song is bigger and better and who gets to snab the teen queen title.

Sweet innocent Swift, is really good at plastering on a fake smile while hugging, well lets say rathering squirming in yuckiness of Miley Cyrus. Miley Cyrus has probably not taken a shower in the past couple of days and been too busy taking sexy pictures of herself too even notice her own stench.

Poor Taylor! Although Miley is so twisted in her thinking, she truly believes she is the hottest thing since Britney Spears came onto the teen scene. Well hate to break it to you Miley, but you are NO Miss Spears. Taylor has you beat in the hottness department by millions.

Although, for them being complete oppsites, it is odd how both are sporting the same wardrobe…please Taylor, don’t become like Miley, you too sane to be her!
q: do you think taylor swift should be like miley cyrus? (My answer: NO! EEW!)

What movie is this? Teen girl falls in love with a guy, who turns out to be killer. And she kills him.?
The teenage girl was in love with a guy who she thought was a good guy, but he was not. He was actually the killer everyone was looking for. He might have even pretended to be a detective investigating the crime.

There was a scene where the girl lost her virginity to him in/on/next to a car, but this was no romantic experience so she showered later (to wash the shame off, perhaps), looking at her cross pendant and possibly even crying.

And in the end the girl is in a position where she has to kill the guy, but right before he is killed he says to her "I was inside you" or "I've been inside you" or something like that.

It's driving me nuts! Please help me find this movie!
True Crime (1996)
aka Dangerous Kiss
starring Alicia Silverstone, Kevin Dillon, Marla Sokoloff, David Packer, Bill Nunn
IMDb synopsis:
Mary Giordano is a bright, intelligent student who goes to a catholic school. She also has a addiction to mystery novels and detective magazines (hence the title of the movie), which inspire her to do her own detective work. When she starts snooping around on the case of a murderer of teenage girls, it gets her in hot water with her mentor Detective Jerry Gunn. But it also starts a team up with police cadet Tony Campbell. The two work together to find the murderer. But the closer Mary gets to solving the murder, the more danger she puts herself in of being the next victim.

I've watched this a number of times on Lifetime Movie Network and definitely would catch it again whenever I could.
What is the name of that HBO movie with the Femme/Gay Teen?
When I was still living at home there was a recorded VHS movie from HBO that my friend let me borrow.

The very beginning of the movie showed an opening scene with a young teenage boy with his genitals tucked between his legs too resemble a women while he was showering.
It went on as a bunch of other teenage boys harassed and what I assumed was too beat him for being gay/femme, but I never got to watch the rest as my mother was a "homophobe" and took it away from me.

It seemed like a really moving and sad story that I still want to watch. All I know is that first scene, that it was on TV around 2000 - 2004 and that it was on HBO at some point.
Does anyone know the title?
"Jack" with Stockard Channing and Ron Silver
Please Help I Know this is a tall order but if anyone can review my essay it would be extremely appreciated?? ?
In this essay I have been asked to select an extract from a film of my choice and then choose from one or more aspects of the film’s language to analyse. The film that I have selected is ‘American Beauty’ (Mendes, 1999). As well as being an excellent and award winning piece of cinema it is full of underlining meaning. I aim to study the films cinematography and mis-en-scene as I feel that ‘American Beauty’ strongly and interestingly conveys its theme’s and meaning through its cinematography and mis-en-scene, The extract that I have picked is the opening five minuets of the film, in this sequence we are individually introduced to the characters and theirs lives, in this sense there is a voice over who is supplying the viewer with the information, which gives the insight into the characters. The reason behind my choice was that I felt the extracts cinematography and mis-en-scene has a lot to offer.
American beauty is a moving story, which looks at a middle-aged man at dead-end job Lester Burnham and his status-seeking wife, Carolyn, as their marriage and lives slowly unravel. Lester’s wife detests him, his daughter Jane regards him with contempt, and his boss is positioning him for the axe however Lester decides to make a few changes in his life. The more self-independent he gets the happier he becomes nevertheless Lester is about to discover with ultimate freedom comes at the ultimate price.
The mis-en-scene correlates to the dramatic impact the film has on the spectator. Through the mis-en-scene the spectator is able to gain a massive insight into the films three of the main characters, for instance, by the pristine demeanour of the mother “Carolyn Burnham” we can see that she is fixated on maintaining an idealistic appearance, further proof is her over flattering attitude toward the homosexual neighbour’s compared to her hostile attitude towards her own family, giving us a sense superficiality.
Our first introduction to the daughter “Jane Burnham” is brief, however again by the use of mis-en-scene she is portrayed as a stereotypical teenager; miserable and insecure. This is best illustrated when she is seen browsing though a breast augmentation website, which is then followed by her insecurely and self-judgementally pushing out her chest in front of her bedroom mirror also the scenery is quite untidy furthering the teen stereotype.
We can easily gather that the farther “Lester Burnham” is depressed trough his withdrawn and emotionless expressions and his all round lack of urgency.
There is a lot of symbolism contained within the films cinematography. Shortly after the scene where Lester in the shower engaging in masturbation, its cuts to a shot of single rose in the front garden of the Burnham house. Roses commonly denotes passion and romance and so when the rose is snipped off the stem by his wife, I feel that this be symbolic to the castration of his manhood and his sexual repression. I believe this also shows Carolyn’s dominates over Lester.
The opening to my extract starts off with a bird’s eye view shot of a sub urban neighborhood, the camera angelically glides though the clouds and slowly moving toward the ground surface this is happening whilst Lester is explaining that in less then a year he will be dead, that line and the uses of cinematography this gives us a sense that its almost as if its coming down from the heavens which could lead on to indicate that he is a good man also that as a spectator we are given the impression that were observing from a higher ground.

There are several scenes in this sequence that I feel counterpart with one another extremely well, attempting to further the spectator’s knowledge and understanding of the relationship between the characters. The scenes that I particular feel achieve this are the one discussed in the previous paragraph, and when Carolyn is standing beside her car shouting at her daughter and husband. As Lester is walking down the path way his brief case accidently opens dropping the contents of his case on the ground, he then kneels down to retrieve his belongings. As this is happening the camera pans upwards into a point of view shot, where Lester is looking up at Carolyn, almost like from a guy’s perspective thus further confirming hers dominance over Lester. The shot is then followed by Lester saying, “Both my wife and daughter think I’m this gigantic loser….and they’re right” by delivering that line the scenes meaning is then secured

Also another excellently choreographed piece of cinematography was the scene where Carolyn was conversing with the neighbour while in the front yard amongst the roses in an almost picturesque shot. In he background Lester Burnham emotionlessly and objectively glares though the window, observing his wife in this perfect and unattainable world that she has created. I feel that this piece of framing helps facilitate the films underline meaning of repression. The pretence of happiness i
As a layman I've 'fixed' a few grammar problems but the content is good.

Whatever It Takes (2000)
Ryan is a bit of a geek with eyes for the school sex bomb, Ashley, which induces cringing in his neighbor and best friend, Maggie, a cute intellectual girl. But popular jock Chris has his eye on Maggie, and he offers to help Ryan win Ashley if Ryan will help Chris woo Maggie. So begins a two-headed variation on Cyrano de Bergerac; Ryan composes soulful e-mails for Chris, and Chris advises Ryan to treat Ashley like dirt, which seems to be the only way to get her attention. At first, neither finds it easy to change their ways; Chris comes on too strong, and Ryan is too nervous to be a jerk. But as they start to succeed, Ryan begins to see Maggie in a new light and wonders if he's pursuing the right girl. The film examines the themes of staying true to oneself and finding self-worth.

What do you think of my Youtube ideas?
alright so I have 2 funny ideas for youtube videos and since none of my friends want to help me, I want YOU to help!

idea #1: "You can do it back then but you can't do it now", scenes where one or more adults/teens act like babies/guys!

e.g Have a group of teens or adults play a video and whoever loses has to act like a guy. (maybe the loser could start crying or cover up his/her ears and shout "I won! I'm the best!Lalalalala"

idea #2: make a skit of something funny and embaressing that has happened to you or a friend.

e.g A few years ago, I was about to take a shower and there weren't any towels so I decided to go downstairs....naked since I was alone at home. But I was wrong, my friend came over as a surprise! hahaha I ran downstairs after that happened and grabbed a shirt, put it on and my friend left!
Very funny ideas! How about this one?

A busker is setting up in a busy town. He/she (let's say he) turns on the stereo and begins to dance. What's playing?

THE BIRDIE SONG!

A few people around the street drop their things and begin to dance along...the rhythm takes over! Soon everyone is dancing along. Well, as many people as possible. LOL ROFL LMAO...LOL ROFL LMAO...

I agree with JC about the 'staging it' thing.

By the way, I have a contest...check it out!

Any Ideas? Story help? PLEASE?
kayso.... I'm writing this story, TEEN love story, The girl (Baylee) is pregnant with her boyfriend (Justin) Basically, right now she is four months pregnant, and I need some ideas on what could come after this scene (don't worry, I'll post it below!). I was thinking something kind of like BOOM! Didn't see that coming did ya? Because the LAST 20 chapters, nothing exciting or dramatic happened... Any suggestions? Here's the chapter....
Chapter 48
*The Next Morning*
I woke up and Justin was lying beside me, smiling at me. I smiled back and sat up.
“You’re looking a lot better this morning. How are you feeling?” I asked.
“Fine, now.” He smiled and kissed me good morning. “Hey, Baylee?” He asked.
“Yeah?”
“Is that your natural hair?” He said, running his fingers through my hair.
“No, my color is a lot darker than this. I straighten it every morning. It’s kind of like Taylor Swift’s hair, really curly and thick.”
“You should leave it like that today. I want to see what it looks like.”
“No, trust me. You don’t. It’s really ugly, I hate it.” I said, trying to get out of having my hair curly.
“Please? For me?” He did puppy dog eyes.
“Fine, for you.” I rolled my eyes and smiled. “Let me shower. I’ll be back.” I gave him a kiss on the cheek and went into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and hopped into the shower. I looked down at my stomach. “Holy ****.” I whispered. It looked like I was getting bigger and bigger by the day. Which isn’t EXACTLY possible, but it was probably just my mind playing tricks on me. I was almost four months now, two more away from finding out the gender! Boy, or girl, I didn’t really care as long as it was healthy. I got out of the shower and blow dried my hair. I put some anti-frizz cream in it, so it would be poufy. I stepped out of the bathroom and Justin was lying in bed, just like I left him.
“Wow, Baylee. Your hair is so beautiful. I love it.” He gasped. I smiled.
“Thanks, but I still hate it like this.” I got changed for the day and went downstairs with Justin. He came up behind me and gave me a hug, his arms wrapped around my stomach.
“You’re getting bigger!” He smiled.
“Oh yeah, because THAT’S what I want to hear.”
“Oh, no, I didn’t mean it like THAT. What I meant was that… um… err…” He paused for a second. I laughed. “What I MEANT was that the BABY is getting bigger, not you.” He smiled apologetically.
“It’s okay, I knew what you meant.” I kissed him and he smiled. “Justin?” I asked.
“Yeah?”
“Will you still love me, even if I gain a little bit of weight?” I asked, kind of nervous of what his answer would be.
“That’s a dumb question. OF COURSE, I’ll still love you, no matter what you look like. I think you’re beautiful on the inside. And the outside, well, that’s just a bonus.” He winked.
“I love your charm.” I said giving him a quick kiss on the lips.
“Hey, they don’t call me a ladies man for nothing!” We both laughed.
If you have twenty previous chapters with nothing happening it sounds like your problems with this story start a lot earlier than this chapter. Though your opening line about "The girl (Baylee) is pregnant with her boyfriend (Justin)" really made me laugh as I was wondering how a girl gets pregnant with a boyfriend instead of a baby...
Anyway, this whole chapter has nothing in it. The dialog and interaction doesn't move the story forward, so by the end of the piece the two characters are still where they started. There's no conflict, internal or external, and basically they are just talking about hair. There's also nothing here to make a reader care about the characters enough to continue reading. They sound pretty happy and readers want to cheer for the character, to root for them as they grow throughout the story. Keep in mind that character arc and growth is as important, if not more important, than the plot.
I'd suggest putting some thought into what each character really wants, and how you as the writer can put obstacles in the way of obtaining that goal, whether it's internal or external. That will give you conflict and that alone will make this piece more interesting. Good luck.
Son disobeyed!?
Heres the scene, Im a single mom with a 9yr old son. Last nite I cook dinner pork chops and a couple of side dishes. We ate dinner he wanted seconds but only wanted the porkchop not the sides. I said "no". Later that night after he went to bed and I had takn a shower gettn ready for bed ,I was puttin the foodin the fridge and I saw that all the pork chops that were leftover had been bitten off of. I woke him up and ask did he do it and he said "I wanted another and thats why I did this". What the h ell was he thinkn. I was gonna punish him but it was kinda funny. Am I in trouble when he becomes a teen?
Well first of all, if he's hungry, let him eat again. Sounds like he really wanted more, remember boys can eat more than girls can. I don't think you should punish him for it, I dont know why you didn't allow him to have it. I dont think your in trouble when he becomes a teen cept that they do eat more as they get older.

In my family, if a guy his hungry and their is leftovers, let them have it... it saves it from going in the garbage if nobody eats it the next day. He was being honest with you but its not like went in your purse and stole 10 dollars, he just stole food in your refrigerator.

Don't punish him over something that is one of the necessity that we need in our everyday lives.
